家庭是孩子学习的第一环境,父母是孩子的第一任老师家长的教育观念及其教育动机能直接影响着孩子,所以家长应扭转自己的教育观念,采用科学的教育方法、正确的教育手段对幼儿进行早期英语开发教育。教育方法、手段、途径不当。对孩子进行早期英语教育是十分必要的,但是必须要采用合理、科学的教育方法,这就对家长提出比较高的要求,有些家长往往由于教育方法不当而致使教育效果不理想。只注重实际的英语教育训练而忽视兴趣的培养。 一些家长不懂正确的科学教育方法及教育规律,却出于望子成龙的心态盲目地给幼儿施加压力,让幼儿枯燥无味地进行英语口语训练及反复的单词识记,却忽视了最重要的一点——兴趣是最好的老师,殊不知“磨刀不误打柴功”,兴趣是幼儿进行一切活动的起点和动力,是幼儿最好的老师,《论语》曰:“知之者不如好之者,好之者不如乐之者”,著名的教育学家福禄贝尔也曾说过“儿童就像饥渴的小苗需要水分和养料一样,天然渴望在适宜的环境里自然而茁壮的成长,他们需要活动的认识,需要兴趣得到唤起和培植,他们要主动的发展自己”。心理学家和教育学家一致认为,一个人如果对某一事物产生了浓厚的兴趣,便会自觉地去钻研学习,并使其以专注的精力、忘我的精神从事这一活动。幼儿对英语有了兴趣,便会觉得学习英语是一种乐趣而不是负担,这便真正达到了寓教于乐的教育目的,所以进行英语教育活动的最终效果很大程度上取决于幼儿对英语的兴趣是否被唤起。
